"The truth is, we wanted to start using ratings & reviews software because everyone else had it. It’s a must-have for e-commerce, a “hygiene factor” you have to have in place to pick up the bad experiences and deal with them. We have never used a ratings & reviews system before but we have been looking for it for a while already when Steinar reached out to us. Good timing. At the same time, we have been contacted by another ratings and reviews provider, whose tool looked good but Lipscore’s simplicity was what we needed. Another key point for us was that reviews appear with the customer’s full name and that in order to leave a review you either had to be a buyer and get an email invitation or log in with a social account. The authors of reviews are not anonymous and thus there are really few cases of spam or inappropriate reviews."
We reply to all reviews, both positive and negative, but we pay special attention to the latter and the customer center continues the conversations with customers via email to make sure their problems are addressed and fixed.
Our product teams find the reviews and reports very insightful. Although we do not base business decisions on reviews as such, if there are ideas or doubts that we’ve already come up with and discuss, customer reviews can actually tip the balance.

Online shoppers get suspicious of webshops that have no user ratings & reviews and thus I believe customer reviews are one of the most important factors for increased conversion rates and brand trust. They make the page look more authentic and at the same time help us, as a business, pick up negative customer experiences sooner and act upon customer feedback to make sure everyone is satisfied at the end of the day.
